The Rhodes Multicultural Community Association (RMCA) -Professionals Business Network is a platform for professionals to network and further your careers, education and work in our local community. Join us at our next event to hear from our speaker Ushma Dhanak “Social and Emotional Intelligence – why do we need this in our workplaces”.
After Ushma starting her career as a lawyer in the UK, she turned to Human Resources because of her love of working and interacting with people. This led to her obtaining qualifications in coaching and mediations. She has 10 years’ experience working for a range of large private sector companies as well as government agencies. She has a vast knowledge of Industrial Relations having worked in blue collar, unionised industries.
Ushma now takes great pride in collaborating with small to medium businesses, including startups, across various industry verticals. Her goal is to help business owners that do not have an internal HR resource by providing a tailored outsourced HR approach to ensure that all the people related needs of your business are met with the right solution – creating the right fit. She has worked with companies such as NRL, Komatsu, RailCorp, RMS, SBS, RSL Clubs and small to medium business across all industry verticals.
